What’s New with the Nissan SUV Lineup

The year 2024 brings exciting updates to Nissan’s SUV lineup, featuring revamped models that promise to redefine the driving experience. Models with NissanConnect Services – a telematics feature that works with the MyNissan app – now receive a three-year trial, up from six months. Depending on the vehicle, it can lock and unlock doors, trigger remote engine start /stop, provide vehicle health report, and more.

 

This generation of the top-rated Nissan Rogue receives its first refresh. Continue reading to see what’s new and different on every 2024 Nissan SUV.

 

2024 Nissan Kicks:

The Nissan Kicks SV and SR models (the two top trim levels) gain standard NissanConnect for the new year, as well as a WiFi hot spot and over-the-air update capability. All three features were previously available with the Technology package, which has been discontinued from the 2024 Nissan Kicks. This subcompact Nissan SUV last received a refresh for 2021 after three years on the market, so we can expect another wave of significant updates soon.

 

2024 Nissan Rogue:

The top-rated Nissan Rogue scores a mid-cycle refresh for 2024. Nissan updates the front and rear exterior design, and the SV and Platinum trims receive new 18- and 19 – inch wheels. Everest White Pearl, Deep Ocean Blue Pearl, Baja Storm, and several two-tone configurations with a black roof make up new colors for the compact crossover.

 

Styling changes inside the Rogue include new colors and textures for the door panels, seats, center console, and front passenger dashboard trim.

 

The 2024 Nissan Rogue SV and higher receive standard NissanConnect, which include an enhanced version of the MyNissan app that can communicate climate control, heated seat, and heated steering wheel (if equipped) settings when using remote start. On the SL and higher, a Google built-in connectivity is standard. The SL also gets a wireless device charging pad, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster that were previously standard only on the Platinum model.

 

2024 Nissan Pathfinder:

The Pathfinder was redesigned for 2022, gaining a more traditional SUV exterior design, improved drivetrain, available second-row captain’s chairs, and updated technology features. A Pathfinder Rock Creek AWD trail-oriented model joined the lineup for 2023. For 2024, the Nissan Pathfinder features standard Nissan Safety Shield 360 and NissanConnect with an 8-inch touchscreen (9-inch available) featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and standard LED exterior lighting.

 

2024 Nissan Murano:

For 2024, a dual-panel moonroof that was previously optional for the Murano SL trim and standard on the Murano Platinum top trim is now standard on both. The 2024 update means the available Moonroof package has been retired.

 

2024 Nissan ARIYA:

Since its debut for 2023, Nissan has revealed that the ARIYA electric SUV will adapt Tesla’s NACS charging port standard starting with the 2025 model. Nissan has made available an intermediate adapter in the meantime.

 

2024 Nissan Armada:

Similar to the Murano, the S trim has been discontinued from the Armada lineup. This leaves the Armada SV, Armada SL, and Armada Platinum for 2024. Overall, the 2024 Nissan Armada provides a cushy, refined ride, strong powertrain, and high-end materials.
