The 2019 Nissan Murano is Awarded ‘Best 2-Row SUV for the Money’ By U.S. News

For the fourth time in five years, the 2019 Nissan Murano has taken home the prestigious “Best 2-Row SUV for the Money” award which was seen in U.S. News & World Report magazine.

The awards, which have been published annually since 2007, include 14 automotive categories. The particular award was presented to Nissan in conjunction with the 2019 Chicago Auto Show. According to U.S. News, the Murano stood out for its “outstanding value and critical acclaim.”

“Since the launch of the original Nissan Murano 16 years ago, it has had a profound impact on the SUV market, offering a forward-looking design sensibility that combines elegant styling with premium features,” said Scott Shirley, vice president, CMM & Marketing Operations, Nissan North America, Inc. “With the enhancements for the 2019 model year, Murano takes another major leap forward in terms of advanced technology and value. We’re grateful to U.S. News & World Report for once again recognizing Murano as a leader in its class.”

The five-passenger Murano returns for 2019 with a “freshened” exterior design and some new premium interior features. Three new colors, deep blue pearl, mocha almond pearl and sunset drift chromaflair. Styling tweaks include a new, bolder V-motion grille; restyled LED headlights (now standard) and LED taillights.

Four trim levels come with the 2019 Murano: base model S, SV, SL and Platinum. The starting MSRP for the base model starts at $31,270.
