Nissan Kicks and Murano Named Most Dependable in 2025 J.D. Power Study
Nissan’s dedication to vehicle quality and customer satisfaction continues to earn recognition, with the Nissan Kicks and Nissan Murano securing top honors in the J.D. Power 2025 U.S. Vehicle Dependability StudySM (VDS).
For the 2022 model year, the Nissan Kicks was named the Most Dependable Small SUV, while the Nissan Murano earned the title of Most Dependable Midsize SUV.
“The recognition of the Nissan Kicks and Murano as the most dependable small and midsize SUVs underscores our commitment to quality, durability, reliability, and safety,” said Vinay Shahani, senior vice president of U.S. marketing and sales, Nissan Americas. “We design vehicles that our customers can rely on and enjoy for years to come.”
Now in its 36th year, the J.D. Power Vehicle Dependability Study evaluates three-year-old vehicles across 184 potential problem areas spanning nine categories, including infotainment, features and controls, exterior, interior, powertrain, and driving experience. Both the 2022 Kicks and Murano outperformed their segment averages.
The all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks, introduced last year, boasts a bold design, advanced technology, a versatile interior, and best-in-class standard ground clearance. It also enhances driver confidence with Kicks-first available Intelligent All-Wheel Drive and available ProPILOT Assist for highway driving.
